“The Curry Wok is one of the most underrated restaurants in Singapore. This family-owned restaurant serves nyonya food with signatures such as braised pork knuckle, fish head curry, nonya chap chye, ngoh hiang, hainanese pork chop, otak otak and curry chicken with potatoes. The chicken was oh-so-tender and the curry was thick and fragrant, ideal to have with rice. What we love about the food is that it's good and it tastes like something my grandma made. Definitely a place to try when one comes back from a long stint overseas.” - Kenneth Lee
“Was craving Nyonya food and found this restaurant on Honestbee. The menu looks good so I ordered the Bento Set that comes with chicken curry, braised pork, an egg, and Nonya Chap Chye for $10. It was really satisfying, I am really impressed with the chicken curry so rich with spices!” - Chan Wei Ting
“My family frequents this restaurant whenever we feel like Nyonya food. We always ordered this 4 person set meal that comes with steam rice, Fish Head Curry, mixed vegetable, ngoh hiang and pork knuckle. If I remember correctly the price is about $60 (inclusive of service charge and GST). The portion is huge and the dishes served are very delicious (especially the fish head curry). Last but not least, what I like most about this place is their service. They always greet you with a smile and ensure that you have a wonderful "home-like" experience.” - Alrirsin
